Synthesis and characterization of Co salen complex catalyst supported on SBA-15, applied in the phenol oxidation to produce catechol using air as oxidant agent. Activity tests at 25, 38 and 50°C showed a good fitting with reversible first order reaction and kinetic parameters were obtained.
