Catalyst Activation Study on Mo Catalyst for Direct Methanation

The direct methanation process is based on Mo catalysts which are sulfur-resistant, have low potential for carbon deposition.We had studied the effect of H₂S activation temperature, activation time and activation pressure on the methanation performance, and determined the activation method suitable for sulfur resistant methanation catalyst.
