Extracting Quantitative Kinetic Information from Light-off Profiles

The plug-flow reactor design equation was combined with the rate law for CO oxidation and curve-fitted to non-isothermal kinetic data. Kinetic parameters obtained by quantitative analysis of non-isothermal data make use of much more data and are more accurate than parameters obtained by the Arrhenius method which linearizes data.
