Since 2009, commercialization of residential fuel cell was started in Japan.  NH3 in ppm levels causes a loss in cell performance for PEM and PAFC systems due to electrolyte consumption.   In this study, NH3 formation in steam reforming was investigated over various supported metal catalysts and compared against conventional catalysts.
