Selective Catalysis with Oxide Nanocavities

Oxide catalysts are modified by deposition of an organic template before growth of inert Al2O3 coatings using atomic layer deposition. The resulting nm-thick films have have nm-diameter cavities giving selective access to the underlying cavity.
