Mechanistic Consequences of Composition in Selective Methanol Oxidation on Acid-Redox Bifunctional Polyoxometalate Clusters

Materials with diverse composition and known structure are used to examine the effect of composition on kinetically relevant H-abstraction and re-oxidation steps involved in selective oxidation reactions and to establish rigorous relations between reactivity and relevant theoretical descriptors of redox property and acid strength.
