O-M-Jon-7 BiVO4/WO3/FTO Nanostructured Photoelectrodes for Photoelectrochemical Water Oxidation

BiVO4/WO3/FTO heterojunction electrode configuration was designed by spray coating a highly porous BiVO4 layer on top of nanostructured WO3.  Photogenerated electrons in the conduction band of BiVO4 were efficiently transferred into WO3 conduction band, consequently improved photocurrents and water oxidation activities have been achieved.
