The decomposition of hydrous hydrazine on NiFe/Cu catalyst at 50 and 70oC yielded 100% and 50% conversion in 20 min respectively. No conversion was observed on monometallic iron and copper at the same conditions. XANES results indicated that copper is fully reduced, nickel and iron unreduced.
