Due to the widespread application of g-alumina (g-Al2O3), specifically in the petroleum and petrochemical industries as a catalyst and/or support [1-2], understanding the surface properties of g-Al2O3 and the interaction between the active components and the support is critical to elucidate the structure property relationship of this industrially significant material.
