Electronic Structure of gamma-Al2O3: Properties and Implication on Supported Catalysts

Due to the widespread application of g-alumina (g-Al₂O₃), specifically in the petroleum and petrochemical industries as a catalyst and/or support ^[1-2], understanding the surface properties of g-Al₂O₃ and the interaction between the active components and the support is critical to elucidate the structure property relationship of this industrially significant material.
