Effect of Reaction Parameters on the Activity and the Selectivity of Brown Grease Decarboxylation for Green Diesel Production

The decarboxylation performance of the Pd/C catalyst was evaluated to obtain green diesel biofuel from waste oil. This study shows that the selective decarboxylation process with mild reaction conditions can be used as a low cost alternative to the conventional hydrotreating process for waste oil conversion to diesel fuel.
