Exolution of Group VIII Metals from Lanthanum-doped Strontium Titanate for SOFC Applications

We apply the concept of smart catalyst to soild oxide fuel cell anode. The catalytic effect of the cobalt and copper exolution particles on the surface of lathanum strontium titanate is studied. As a model structure, strontium titanate single crystal was used to study exolution behavior of cobalt and copper.
