Understanding the Role of Various Active Sites on the Conversion of Lignin-Derived Phenolics on Ru/TiO2

The vapor phase conversion of phenolic model compounds catechol and anisole were studied over Ru/TiO₂ catalysts. The goal of this work is to modify catalyst pretreatment conditions to better understand the roles of competitive adsorption and strong metal support interactions on these reactions.
