O-Th-Seg-17 CO Adsorption and Photo-Excitation Effects On Novel Pt/TiO2/Au Catalytic Diodes

A nanomesh Pt/TiO2/Au catalytic diode has been prepared. The frequency of the IR band of adsorbed CO and the photocurrent during visible light illumination are affected by an external bias voltage. These results suggest the possibility of controlling catalytic reactions and selectivity with an external bias voltage.
