Synthesis and Characterization of Y Zeolite-supported Rhodium Carbonyl Hydride Complexes

New results presented herein demonstrate a two-step pathway for the selective synthesis of well-defined and structurally uniform HY zeolite-supported Rh(CO)(H)_x complexes under ambient conditions. Furthermore, the stability of these Rh(CO)(H)_x species at elevated temperatures is addressed, as well as their reactivity, and catalytic performance for the hydrogenation of C₂H₄.
