O-M-Com-4 Combined TGA/in-situ XRD Study of PdO Decomposition and Reformation in Model Automotive TWC Catalysts

The state of Pd catalyst is crucial for high-temperature oxidations. This work combined TGA/in-situ XRD to quantitatively identify the different forms of supported PdO in oxidizing atmosphere and compared the effects of catalyst aging. The results can potentially help to optimize utilization of automotive exhaust and methane oxidation catalysts.
