A novel GeO2-CeO2-WO3 catalyst with excellent NH3-SCR activities at 170-450 °C was prepared. The addition of GeO2 to a CeO2-WO3 catalyst improved the SO2 resistance and decreased the stability of sulfate/sulfite species. Heat treating with H2 was an effective way to regenerate the SO2-poisoned GeO2-CeO2-WO3 catalyst.
