The chemical fixation of carbon into value-added products such as methanol is being pursuit as a sustainable route to mitigate industrial emissions. This work shows that Cu/Zn based catalysts are highly selective to methanol (> 90 mol.%)  with CO2 conversion of 18% under reaction conditions of 270oC and 70 bar.
