Catalytic Epoxidation of Indene under Heterogeneous Conditions

Jacobsen catalyst, with its two enantiomerically pure forms, was used as an recyclable and selective catalyst for epoxidation of indene to their corresponding epoxide at room temperature in good yields. The effect of different reactions parameters, are discussed. Using this method the catalyst could be recovered and reused several times.
