P-M-BRC-5 Photocatalytic Degradation of Methyl Orange with Bi2Mo3O12/TiO2 Catalysts

Several Bi2Mo3O12/TiO2 photocatalysts of different composition were prepared by the sol-gel method and characterized by UV-vis spectroscopy and XRD. Photocatalytic activity was determined by degradation of methyl orange experiments. The results show that energy band gap decreases as Bi2Mo3O12 increases. These catalysts show activity for the photodegradation of methyl orange.
