In this study, we demonstrate the presence of a Cu redox cycle between 2-coordinate Cu(I) and 4-coordinate Cu(II) under standard SCR conditions in Cu/SSZ-13 using operando x-ray absorption spectroscopy.  We conclude that any proposed standard SCR mechanism should account for this observed redox cycle.
