P-M-BRC-120 Photocatalytic Degradation of Trimethoprim by Metallic Nanoparticles Supported on TiO2 P25

The photodegradation of trimethoprim by using TiO2-P25 modified with Au, Ag, Cu and Ni nanoparticles was studied. The mineralization of this molecule increases until 2 times compared to bare TiO2. The activity decreased in the following order Au/TiO2»Ag/TiO2>Cu/TiO2>Ni/TiO2>TiO2 P25.
