O-Th-Jon-5 Single-Particle Spectroscopy of Large SAPO-34 Crystals at Work: Methanol-to-Olefins vs. Ethanol-to-Olefins

A thorough comparison between MTO and ETO has been conducted at the single particle level. UV-Vis microscopy was used to monitor the kinetics and mechanisms of formation of HCP species, CFM showed the inhomogeneous formation of HCP, IRM provided more chemical information of formed species and intermediates.
