In this work, carriers with the K2NiF4-type structure were synthesized by microwave-assisted combustion.  The evaluation of these carriers was conducted  using an AutoChem II (Micromeritics) coupled to a HPR20 (Hiden) mass spectrometer. Among the catalysts studied, the perovskite-based Ni catalyst precursor exhibited the highest initial catalytic activity for CLC.
