Enhancement of NO and C3H6 Oxidation Over Pt/Al2O3 by SO2 Treatment

After exposure to SO₂ and subsequent reduction, Pt/Al₂O₃ catalyst showed improved oxidation ability for NO and C₃H₆. Yet only half of the stored sulfur was released during the reduction. After complete desulfation only the activity during cooling was significantly enhanced for both reactions.
