The effect of bimetallic nanoparticles supported on TiO₂-P25 in the photocatalytic production of hydrogen from water-methanol (1:1) was studied. The materials were first evaluated as monometallic photocatalysts of Au, Ag, Cu and Ni; and then as bimetallic nanoparticles combined with gold, presenting a synergetic effect with this noble metal.
