P-M-BRC-37 Influence of Organic Ligands Used in the Preparation of Ni/SBA-15 Hydrogenation Catalysts

Ni catalysts supported on SBA-15 with different metal loadings were prepared with and without the addition of organic ligands (citric acid and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) and tested in hydrogenation of naphthalene reaction. Catalysts prepared with the addition of EDTA were more active than those prepared with citric acid and without ligands.
