A rheology modifier was used to enhance the SpongeTM Ni catalyst flow characteristics by enabling the nickel particles to be suspended at rest. The impact of the flow additive to the ‘nickel slurry” and it effects to the rheological characteristics and hydrogenation of D-Glucose to D-Sorbitol are presented.
