P-Tu-BRC-111 Aqueous Phase Reforming of Lactose with Bimetallic Overlayer Catalysts

Bimetallic overlayer Pt@Ni and Pt@Co have been synthesized and used to reform lactose through an APR process.  Overlayer catalysts have shown adsorption behavior different from that of their bimetallic and monometallic counterparts that is consistent with computational predictions; demonstrating they are ideal APR candidates.
