P-M-BRC-91 Kinetic Study of the Mono and Diglyceride Synthesis by Glycerolysis of Methyl Oleate on MgO

The glycerolysis of methyl oleate (FAME with C18:1) toward mono and diglycerides was studied on MgO.  A LHHW kinetic model for complex reactions was postulated. Model assumptions were based on DFT calculations of glycerol and FAME adsorption on MgO and catalytic results.
