P-W-Wil-7 Shape-Selective Catalysis Determined by the Volume of a Zeolite Cavity: Selective Production of Propylene

Highly selective production of C3H6 from olefins (C2H4, C4H8 and C5H10) can be accomplished by employing a new concept of b-scission of the specific carbenium ions: adjusting the pore volume of a zeolite to accommodate the volume of the specific carbenium ions, as opposed to a conventional molecular sieve approach.
