Pd@Ceria core-shell catalyst was synthesized and homogeneously deposited onto hydrophobic alumina support. The effect of high-temperature calcination was investigated. The results showed that high-temperature calcination enhanced the MSR performance significantly. Catalysts calcined at lower temperature exhibited transient deactivation, which is caused by a decrease in the exposed metal surface area.
