O-M-Fre-13 CO Selective Methanation over a Mesoporous Silica-Covered Ni-Alumina-Based Catalyst

We developed a mesoporous silica-covered Ni-based catalyst for CO selective methanation; new hydrogen purification process for residential PEFC systems. Over the new catalyst, CO removal activity and durability were dramatically improved. In this study, the structure of the catalyst and mechanism for the improvement of catalytic performance will be discussed.
