P-Tu-BRC-1 Experimental and First Principles Study of CO Oxidation on Supported Single Pt Atoms

We report synthesis, characterization, catalytic acitivity of single Pt atoms supported on θ-alumina and present first principle studies of energetically favored pathways for CO oxidation on single supported Pt atoms that do not involve the substrate in the CO oxidation process.
