Commercially available water gas shift catalysts are not tolerant to sulfur in the range commonly found in biomass feedstocks.  pH Matter has developed a suite of sulfur tolerant catalysts that demonstrate activity in the sulfur range (50-500 ppm) commonly encountered in biomass feedstocks.
