P-W-BRC-2 Glycerol Steam Reforming over Pt Supported on Mg-Al Mixed Oxides

Hydrogen can be selectively produced from glycerol steam reforming on Pt/Mg-Al catalysts. Even though deactivation was observed, the performance of the catalyst obtained from impregnation of a layered hydroxide structure should be outlined. The importance of the distribution of basic surface centers on the support was considered.
