This work deals with the understanding of the deactivation route of RhPt/La2O3 catalyst in the steam reforming of ethanol, which allows us to propose an appropriate catalyst reactivation procedure in order to obtain a stable catalyst for the steam reforming of the bioethanol produced in Colombia.
