O-F-Com-6 Probing the Hydrodesulfurization Properties of Metal Phosphides Using Core-shell Nanoparticle Catalysts

Metal phosphide nanoparticles encapsulated in mesoporous silica (e.g. Ni2P@mSiO2) have been prepared and their dibenzothiophene hydrodesulfurization (HDS) properties investigated.  The effect of metal phosphide composition and particle size on HDS activity and selectivity will be discussed.
