P-Tu-BRC-58 Al2O3 Supported Mo Catalyst for Methanation: Effect of CeO2 Promoter Addition

CeO2 addition increased the methanation activity and stability of the Mo/Al2O3 catalyst. According to the characterization results the activity increase can be attributed to the dispersion improvement of Mo phase, while the stability increase was ascribed to the interaction enhancement between Mo and support.
