Hydrogenation of Chloronitrobenzene over AuPd/TiO2 Catalysts

AuPd/TiO₂ was more active and selective than Au/TiO₂ in liquid phase hydrogenation of p-chloronitrobenzene. Very low metal loadings, i.e. 0.7 wt.% Au and 0.01 wt.% Pd, are needed to achieve high yield of chloroaniline.
