P-M-BRC-56 Quinoline and Indole Adsorption onto MCM-41 Modified by Al and Ni for Improve the HDS Process

MCM-41, Al-MCM-41 and Ni-MCM-41 were synthesized and evaluated; adsorbing quinoline and indole for improve HDS process. Materials were characterized by using DRX, N2 Physisorption, TPD-Py and HRTEM.

Kinetic models based on Langmuir mechanism were developed for estimated the adsorption parameters. Packed-bed adsorbers were simulated for predicted the behaviour at industrial scale.
