Novel, compact reactor designs for the efficient onboard dehydrogenation of Liquid organic hydrogen carriers will be presented. The challenge was to minimize the mass transport limitations caused by the large volume of H2 generated (600:1 H2:liquid at full conversion) during the reaction.
