P-Tu-82 UV-vis Spectroscopic Analysis of the Reduction Processes of supported metal catalysts

We showed that it is possible to follow the reduction process of Pt and Pd supported at low metal content on Al2O3 using the UV-vis spectroscopy. The deconvoluted areas from UV-vis spectrum of the Pt and Pd catalysts calcined at 500°C were related with the Pt and Pd content.
