P-Tu-81 RuOx nanoparticle modified TiO2(110) catalysts for photo-reactions : A structural and spectroscopic study

We present here microscopic (STM) and spectroscopic (XPS, NEXAFS) studies on the structural and electronic modifications induced by RuOX nanoparticles on a rutile TiO2(110) surface. These changes then influence the photo-catalytic activity of the TiO2 surface, as revealed using Trimethylacetic acid (TMAA) as a probe molecule under UV irradiation.
