We report a general synthesis protocol for the selective encapsulation of metal and oxide clusters within small-pore zeolites (LTA, GIS, ANA and SOD) and its consequence for the selection of reactants based on size and for the protection of such clusters against sintering or poisoning by organosulfur and H2S titrants.
