Hydrotreating of oil supplies is becoming increasingly important to protect the environment by minimizing the impact of the use of this source. Nowadays, the development of highly active HDS catalysts is important. The present work studies the synthesis in acid medium of MoS2-SiO2 and M-MoS2-SiO2 catalysts for hydrodesulfurization  of dibenzothiophene.
