S-poisoning and regeneration of Pd catalysts dispersed onto alumina- and zirconia-based supports is investigated. A very effective regeneration is obtained by rich CH4-containing pulses at T=650°C irrespectively of the support material. This is likely related to reduction of sulphates controlled by CH4 activation over poisoned Pd.
