The relationship between zeolite structure and the expression of the olefin hydrocarbon pool in MTH catalysis was examined under low temperature and high DME pressure conditions.  Reaction rates in kinetically relevant regimes vary by a factor of 25 across MFI, MOR, BEA, and FER sampled in this study.
