OC03 Development of core-shell structured 3Pt1Pd/C catalyst for ORR in PEMFC by polyol reduction

Preparation method of core-shell structured 3Pt1Pd/C catalyst for PEMFC cathode was developed. 2~7 nm sized 3Pt1Pd/C catalysts were successfully obtained by polyol reduction. In the kinetic current region, the core-shell structured 3Pt1Pd/C catalyst showed the highest ORR activity due to Pd-rich shell.
