This talk will provide recent results from our lab concerning the hydrothermal, catalytic conversion of wet algal biomass into crude bio-oil and upgraded bio-oil. Catalysts such as Pt/C are effective for producing a freely flowing bio-oil with a high hydrocarbon content.
