P-Tu-143 Synthesis and characteristics of novel alumina-iron oxide catalysts for dehydrogenation of ethylbenzene to styrene

Novel alumina-iron oxide catalysts were prepared by supramolecular templating route, using triblock copolymer as a template. It was observed that these supported catalysts were far better than iron supported on conventional alumina. This was mainly attributed to the presence of high fraction of highly dispersed iron species.
